About
Colonelle films

Colonelle Films is a production company that stemmed from the hearts of three relentless women. The trio is cemented by their complementary strengths: Geneviève is responsible for project development, Fanny takes care of all things administrative, in addition to helping Sarah with production. Three new allies later came to reinforce the battalion: Andrée-Anne oversees post-production, Léonie leads the emerging talents division of the company while Ginger coordinates all operations.

Armed with dedication and high aspirations, they strive to champion a new generation of filmmakers, who are the very backbone of the company. As such, they surround themselves with valuable collaborators with whom they wish to develop a long-term relationship and have many brainchildren. Together, they share a love for quality auteur cinema that is moving, free-spirited and innovative.

THE
COLONELLES

Producer

Fanny Drew

Trained at HEC and coming from an entrepreneurial background, Fanny’s attraction to the silver screen finally got the best of her and she chose a career in cinema. She embarked on the Colonelle Films adventure by tending to the company's well-being: she established its structure, took care of its allies, and calculated the risks. When faced with the challenges that come with every production, Fanny keeps both feet firmly on the ground and makes sure that her ship makes it to port, without veering too much from its course.
Producer

Sarah Mannering

Sarah studied film writing and directing as part of her Bachelor's degree at UQAM's École des médias. Surrounded by a handful of creative geniuses and driven by a DIY spirit, she then learns the production lingo and starts her own company with her two good friends Fanny and Geneviève. Instinctive and dedicated, Sarah attacks every Colonelle production as if her life depended on it.
Development producer

Geneviève Dulude-De Celles

After pursuing extensive studies in film and photography, Geneviève wrote and directed various film projects (fiction and documentary, short as well as feature films). Her experience has earned her the acumen to supervise the development of Colonelle projects. Geneviève is the necessary evil in a filmmaker’s writing process, pelting them with big, existential questions such as "Why?"
Emerging Producer

Léonie Hurtubise

With a Bachelor's degree in Production Strategies at UQAM, Léonie joins the squad as coordinator. Her undeniable intuition quickly gets noticed and earns her the helm of the company’s emerging talents division.
Director of Post-production

André-Anne Roussel

Andrée-Anne's heart is ever divided between the worlds of media arts and cinema. An invaluable ally for the Colonelles, she joins the trio as a director of post-production and extraordinary human being.
Coordinator

Ginger Le Pêcheur

Landing from France to complete a bachelor's degree in film studies at UdeM, Ginger joined the ranks of Colonelle in 2022. Her determination and love for a job well done permeate her every task. On a daily basis, she often saves lives with her magic words "consider it done".
Receptionist & Moral Support Representative

Yuki

Yuki, also known as "Yuki-the-cutest" and "Yuki Dookie" is the office's faithful companion. He offers moral support during stressful moments, as well as his body to be used as a footstool under the desk. Yuki barks at life as if there’s no tomorrow.
